Under 19s - North East Premier Champions 2024/25 season

What a season from the squad, one of the hardest Under 19s leagues in the Country and it is certainly an outstanding achievement. In a league that boasts the likes of Liverpool, Middlesbrough, Sunderland and Many more shadow programmes it is little old UFCA that come out on top. Not too bad for an independent academy.

Only 2 players in the squad didn't play for us at Junior academy level (u7s-u16s) and 8 of the squad are 1st year scholars. That highlights the incredible pathway we have at UFCA and we are so proud to be able to offer that long term pathway for all of our players.

Sadly, we say goodbye to a few of the boys as they move on to a variety of different journeys all around the word, all leave with our best wishes and gratitude for allowing us to coach them for so many years. We look forward to seeing you develop into excellent young men and watching your journey into senior football both closely and from afar.

Grimey and Ranks have led the team all season and in all honesty it shows, as the level the players have been playing at can only be facilitated by coaches as good as them.

Ranks - What a season from the boys, we had a few wobbles over the year but always got back on track and thats credit to the players and the environment. To have so many of my U16s group (from last season) in the team makes me proud but i had no doubt they were good enough, the older boys have looked after them really well, its a shame they cant stay together for another year but we also cant wait to get a new group together and go again, thats what makes coaching so exciting.

Grimey - We have thrown a lot at the boys this season and theyve taken it all in their stride, the lads are all smashing it at school and we have had very few issues to deal with which makes it easy to put full focus on football, its a special group and a good number of the lads will have excellent careers in the game.
