Adventure Cycles Gravity Series round 3

Round 3 of the Adventure Cycles Gravity Series took place at the Dos d’Ane, attracting 22 riders, competing in an enduro race format set over two timed stages. The event set on the steep slopes at the Dos d’Ane incorporated a variety of challenging features, including snarly roots, off camber sections and tight turns.

Despite not competing for over three years, Kieren Duquemin stormed to victory in the advanced category. Over the two timed stages, he put over two seconds between himself and Joe Collenette, who took second closely followed by John Mapley in third place.

Jenny Mahe stood out as the top Junior female rider with Nor Holden taking the honours in the ladies' both showcasing their talents on the course.

In the U16’s, Jim Hamon emerged the overall winner with an impressive ride, relegating series leader Zach Smith down to second place. Harry Manning took the spoils in the U14’s with brother Archie taking he runner up spot. In the Veterans class, a returning Tim Stonebridge secured the win with a strong performance, with Mark Le Page leading the way in the Seniors.
