🥇 National Success for Honey, Mila and Tom at the BJC Nationals!
The British Judo Council (BJC) National Championships — a pinnacle event in the judo calendar — brought together elite judoka from across the country, including entrants from both the British Judo Association (BJA) and Amateur Judo Association (AJA). North Norfolk Judo is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of three of our own, who stepped up and shone on the national stage.
🌟 Honey and Mila, both key members of the BJC National Squad, fought their way to silver medals, displaying grit, technique and composure against some of the UK’s strongest female competitors. These exceptional young athletes have previously represented the BJC at The Gathering in Scotland and the Dublin Open, and continue to prove why they are central to the future of the women's squad.
🥇 Meanwhile, Tom — our own Sensei and National Squad Coach — showed absolute dominance on the mat, taking gold with ease in his category. His performance was a masterclass in calm, controlled judo, setting the standard for others to follow.
This trio exemplifies what it means to train with purpose, compete with heart, and represent both their club and country with pride. Their success is not only a personal triumph but a reflection of the strength, spirit, and standard we’re building together at North Norfolk Judo.
