The Petts Wood 10k is a highly acclaimed, multi-terrain autumn race starting and finishing at Willet Rec, Petts Wood where there will be entertainment and refreshments. Consistently rated as one of the top 10k events in the UK, it is celebrated for its scenic National Trust woodland trails, excellent community support, and phenomenal value.
The course & terrain
- Multi-terrain: The route features a mix of paved roads and off-road trail, taking runners through the beautiful and scenic Petts Wood.
- Undulating hills: Be prepared for a challenge; the course rises and falls with a few testing ascents—often referred to affectionately by runners as "hills" rather than mere undulations.
- Atmosphere: Because much of the route weaves through wooded areas, it provides a peaceful, nature-focused run that is incredibly immersive. The road sections and start/finish at the Rec will have a lot of crowd support and atmosphere to bring you home.
