S&L Juniors U11 Whites - Eversley & California Youth U11 Rangers

Home game on pitch 5, 11.30am KO versus Eversley and California. The grass was a little long but a good surface to play on nonetheless.

Fantastic win Whites! That's 3 in a row. Plenty of goals scored over those games too. This opposition is the best we've faced this season. They were the better side for the first quarter of the game, but they got lucky with an own goal from us. We could have avoided that situation with better communication.

After 15 mins we came alive! Solid in goal and at the back. The midfield covered every blade of grass, and our forwards did exactly what we needed them to do. Some amazing goals. Really good to see the improvement each week. Going 4-1 up was brilliant, especially playing into the wind in the 2nd half. It's a shame we let the 2 goals in at the end but ultimately it didn't change the result.

One thing that really helped me today was that the players listened. This isn't always our strongest point but today they worked really hard and did what I asked them to do during the game. I can't ask for more than that.

Big game next Sunday against our Blue team. They have been doing well also, we need to be at our best to get a result.

Thanks to Steve for refereeing again. Especially with all that noise from their coaches. No need for it.
