U7 Orange - Mount Nod

Another end to end game today, with plenty of goals.

Another new formation today, playing a diamond for the 1st time, which suits the boys individual strengths and skills. 

Really good distribution from Dom in goal today, switching between playing out from the back or kicking long...fantastic decision making👏

Long and Andi both taking turns as the 1 defender, and breaking up a lot of opposition attacks by winning their 1v1s (against kids twice their size)💪💪

Farley, Oscar, Zach, Arthur and Basant all getting the chance to rotate between midfield & ST,  winning 1v1s throughout the game, and taking their goals so well.

All good for their individual development, because as they get older they'll have more ownership of the decision-making process in a fast moving environment,  which is also a vital life skill for them all to learn and help them into adulthood.

 Andi and Oscar have both been such good additions to the team, and will certainly help us push on.

As we come towards the end of the boys 1st season playing together,  players and parents should all be so proud of how they've developed, and the fantastic  friendship bond they've formed.....I know us coaches certainly are.
