U12 Orange - Racing Club Warwick Green

15/1/2022 League game v Racing Club Warwick Green Another good game today, played in the right spirit. Good to see the passing and movement we've been working on in training over the last month being transferred into games, and getting better every week. We missed Charlie in goal today, but any team would as he's an amazing GK, but Ezra and Noah stood in well, pulling off some good saves and distributing the ball well to set up so many attacks. We controlled large parts of the game and were unlucky to go behind, but we kept our heads up and got back into it with a lovely assist from Luke to set up Sam for the finish. Our midfield was so strong today and didn't give the opposition a moments peace. Lots of chances set up from wide positions, but a few times we had no forward players in and around the opposition area to finish them off, but we can work on this in training. MoM today was shared between Charly and Jake. Charly strong in midfield where he's developing a good relationship with Wilfie to allow us to win the ball farther up the pitch, and so good with both feet at moving the ball out of tight situations in the middle of the pitch whilst scanning his options and releasing the ball into space or a direct pass time after time. Jake for consistently beating his man in 1v1s, carrying the ball so well and releasing it at the same time. Both of them have consistently done this for the past few games, so thoroughly deserved 🅰️Luke ⚽️Sam 🏅Jake 🏅Charly
