About us
Our history
After endless problems with players and friends not signing up for matches and training, Frank Bjergø decided, in 2004, that he would make life easier for coaches and players. He wanted to make a digital platform to communicate between coaches and players so that they could save time on the frustrating coordination, and instead spend more time on the field. This is how SportMember started.
With time, SportMember has developed, so that it today also is a platform for; coordination, member fee payments, and websites for clubs and associations. We have more than 1.5 million loyal users and we dream of making it easy and manageable to be a part of any team or club.
Our mission is to make SportMember as user-friendly as possible, which we work hard on every day. Through SportMember, we are trying to make it more fun to be a part of a team/club. we're motivated to help our users to save many hours on administrative work so that they can enjoy what's important - more time for sport!
Our goal is clear: becoming the largest digital platform for the coordination of sports, and we have made it our mission to make teams and clubs digital.
Today we are 20 hard-working members of the SportMember team, who are distributed between the 9 different countries in which we operate.

The SportMember team

Nikolaj has a background in financial management and experience in both accounting and auditing. At SportMember, he is responsible for finances – both internally and for the clubs that use our financial solution. He ensures that the accounts balance and that the integration between SportMember and Billy runs smoothly.
When Nikolaj isn’t juggling receipts and accounts, he enjoys spending time at the gym. He used to play a lot of badminton and still enjoys sports activities, especially when shared with friends.

Andreas holds a degree in e-commerce and works as a Digital Marketing Specialist at SportMember. His focus is on strengthening our digital presence and generating new leads – through everything from SEO and lead campaigns to AI-driven solutions and improvements to our platform and website.
In his free time, he enjoys running, playing football, and soaking up the festival atmosphere. He's a loyal Manchester United supporter – no matter the results – and can almost always be found at some of the Danish festivals.

Annika is a Sales Representative and is responsible for building strong relationships with Danish clubs and associations. She works diligently to understand their needs and help them get the most out of Holdsport’s solutions, making everyday life easier and more efficient.
She has played football since she could walk and has also tried her hand at everything from handball to disco and ballroom dancing. A true competitor, she doesn’t like to lose – and in 2012, she celebrated a major victory when her school won the school football final at the National Stadium. You’ll also often find her in the stands with a cold beer in hand.
