Following a good start with a 3-1 win in the first game, the Canes went on to draw (1-1) and then lose (2-0) in the next two games on Saturday.

The guys knew they had to win both games on Sunday to stand a chance of making the semifinals. However, the Canes spent a lot of the time in the penalty box and succumbed to a 4-2 loss in the first game and then lost the last game 3-1 to the eventual tournament winners, Dumfries Demons.

It was a tough competition facing some of the best rec teams in Scotland and the Canes will look to bounce back in two weeks time when they take on the Streatham Chiefs on the 30th March.
