A great start to our competitive phase. We controlled the majority of the game. With our great quality & composure on the ball, creating multiple opportunities and constantly troubling our opponents with great bits of individual 1v1 play, mixed up with some class team play and combinations too.
Also, I was impressed with our intensity and our aggression out of possession in 1v1 duels and our defending as a collective/team. We really limited the opposition to many clear cut chances in the game.
Also, some of our finishing and attacking play particularly in the wide areas was really impressive too. Which is what we worked on in training on Friday.
