U11 Calcio Talent & Select - CCFA

Before the game we spoke about looking to be more positive and direct when in the attacking third of the pitch. We spoke about finishing our attacks with shots where possible, which we looked at this week in training.

We started much the better team and pressed really well as a team. Scored quite early on with a great finish from Raphi. We continued pressing and really should have been ruthless and scored 3 or 4 more.

They came back into it and went quite direct and caught us on the counter abit, with us overcommitting when pressing. We dealt with this by going to 3 at the back and managed it better.

We scored an excellent goal where Seth drove brilliant with the ball and played a great weighted pass to Tom. Tom made a great run in beyond the defence and placed the ball into the corner with a great finish.

Overall, a good competitive game, with loads of positives to take especially in terms of being more positive with finishing our attacks.
