Gothia 2024 (Players Accepted for the 2009 Squad) - Sandsbro AIK

We started the match playing a 5-3-2, playing against a  5-2-3. 

We started well and were practicing ‘being comfortable when it’s uncomfortable’ allowing the opposition to carry the ball further before winning it back. We also were practicing moving the ball around and looking for the diagonal pass. 

Niko was being man-marked and smartly moved away from the play so there was more space for Will, Fran and Sam to pass the ball forward, allowing Sam to drive and score nearly into the corner from out wide.

The second half we continued playing well with the full backs comfortable in going forward, creating issues for the oppositions defence and creating multiple chances. However we were unable to convert them.

With 1 minute to go however, max receives the ball on the edge of the box before finessing it into the bottom left corner.
