Girls U11's Lionesses - Khalsa

It was a perfect day for football, the weather and the pitch could not have been better and lots of milestones for the girls today. Our first league match on pitch no 1, our last league match of the season and our last ever 7 aside fixture.

The girls got off to a great start with a goal from Jess - a fitting way to sign off from the Stockton Lionesses - Lay with an assist.

Emma made it two before the break with a strong run and finish from distance.

The Lionesses looked strong throughout the team with passing and movement that the opposition just couldn't handle.

Tight at the break - 2-0

A Beckham masterclass after halftime led to a firecracker of a goal for Peyton followed by two worldy looping lobs from Layla.

Emma wrapped up the goals with another run and finish, this time from close distance.

Great performances throughout the team with Alysia, Mona, Lacey and Mimi all unlucky not to be on the score sheet today.
