Boys U10's Lightning - Coventrians

Another fast start saw Daggy score 2 quick goals to have the result of this game feel like a formality within the first 5 mins. Incisive attacking play cutting through the opposition at will and clinical finishing.

To be fair, Coventrians battled back in to the game when they could have dropped their heads, but Lightning stood strong and never really looked like they were in trouble.

The level raised a bit again the 2nd half and with 2 more Daggy strikes it was now a case of how many we would score. Solid defence from the opposition stopped us adding any further goals but Ernest and his defence were completely dominant and earned a deserved clean sheet.

Most players deserved a special mention today but shout outs for Jude on a great debut, Daggy for bagging all 4 goals and player and parents player of the match award winners Ernest and Lucas.
