Today was a brilliant performance by the boys. Before the match we talked about the importance of playing positive football and learning the lessons from the previous match and they absolutely listened. The match was a joy to watch they were not hoofing the ball and kept control. Very proud of every single one of them, they showed that they are listening and development and as a coach that is all you can ask for. We let two goals in from set plays and in training we will keep practicing those.

Player of the match for me was Suchit, he absolutely dominated that midfield and played with "courage" another one of our values that we will be embedding in our team.

Parents player was Marley, he had an outstanding match and played 3 different positions and gave it 110 percent. Also shout out to Alfie his crosses and what we practiced in training were spot on and he partnered with Nathaniel really well.

I could write about every single one of them today, they truly deserved the win and what was impressive was that when the weather got bad they went in stronger which is brilliant to see at their age. We will bottle this enthusiasm and go again strong in the next match.
