U10 Purple - Opponent

First game of the season and we began the match really well with some good forward play, narrowly missing the target on a few occasions. We had some really good early passages of play but were not able to capitalise on the good build up. The lack of sharpness in front of goal is likely a hangover from the long summer break away from competitive matches.

By half time we were three goals down but the team showed some really encouraging signs of determination and belief to fight back into the match and end on a respectable score line. Some really promising passages of play and attitude from our team and with more game time together we're confident that we can play better and be a real challenge to any team in our tier.
