I've been saying for yrs that Charlie is the best GK in the league.
He proved it again today.💪
Gotta say how proud I am of all the boys today.
Playing a tier up from last season against the team that finished 3rd in T3 last season, after having rebuilt our squad over the summer with 6 new signings.....they all looked like they'd always been with us👏
Without a doubt, if we keep playing with that level of intensity, the boys will be in for a great season.
Today they showed that they can compete at this level so shouldn't fear any team this season.
Kept their shape out of possession and played their roles so well, winning individual battles and in their units.
MOTM was a tough 1 today, with such a great spine through the team.
Charlie, James, SamC & Zac stood out today, but Toby H wins it.
Fantastic high pressing playing RW, then getting us off the mark with a wonderful header by all accounts (I missed it🤦♂️) and also a fantastic work rate to set the tempo.
