Match Report: U10 Kildare Town vs Naas Orange

Great performance from the lads to sign off for their last game of season.

1st Half - A spurred on Kildare Town team started well first half and had early chances. Great defending from Cian, Jack and Senan to keep the home side from scoring. Tagh was well in control in the goal to withstand the early onslaught.

Naas withstood the pressure and got themselves slowly into the game, Matt and Daragh went close, Leon saw his chance saved. Naas rung the changes and started to dominate the game. Ollie opened the scoring with brilliant strike that found the top corner. 1-0 Naas.

Naas went close again with Jamie's shot going off the post. Michael with some brilliant play was unlucky to hit the post minutes later. Jamie eventually found the net with another one of his trademark strikes. 2-0 Naas.

2nd Half - Naas started brightly second half with Daragh setting up Leon who was unlucky not to score,Senan also had a chance that went over the bar, Fair play to home side who came back strong and got 2 goals against the run of play 2-2. They then took the lead with a tap-in. 3-2 Kildare Town.

Naas kept going and equalised with ball from Ollie to find John who hit a great strike out side the box 3-3, game on again. Nass applied pressure again and Ollie with a player of the match performance managed to scramble ball home,4-3. Naas held on strong in the end to get the win.

Well done to the lads,only together short amount of time and have really gelled as a unit. Some excellent performance and results. Will only get better as a team!!!
