Ossett United Juniors U10 Vs Calcio Select U10
An organised and well executed performance this weekend saw Calcio run out 8-3 winners vs Ossett U10s.
An excellent first period saw us go up 4-0, with an efficient performance from this lineup. It was pleasing to see the hard work in training paying off with confident and composed playing out from the back by all. Harry, Isaac and dylan were a solid central midfield proving difficult to play through and were extremely effective linking play in possession. Ossett didn’t get a sniff in this period.
The second and third periods became more free flowing in nature, with some excellent forward play. In particular our wide attacks were effective through shacks and Lewen, leading to some high quality chances created and three goals from inside the box. Bielsa would’ve loved this play!
All in all a great performance, with Lewen getting my man of the match. A performance which saw him stay wider and dominate those spaces led him to score two and assist two more. Well done mate!
