Razor FC v Timsbury (Home)

Timsbury went into an early 2-0 lead but the boys didnt let their heads drop and took the fight to Timsbury. Sullivan was superb out on the left wing and his first touch was impeccable today and Rheon and Henry were giving the Timsbury backline nightmares with their attacking play. As it was it was our Centre back Teddy he got us back into the game with a 25 yard screamer which gave the GK no chance. Rheon drew us level reacting quickest to Henrys saved penalty, given after he was hauled down in the box. 2-2 at the break and Razor were unlucky not to be leading. The boys started the second half quickly but it was Timsbury he got the next goal, again the boys didnt let this effect them and drew level quickly with a free kick from Teddy. Henry then got the goal his superb performance deserved and Razor were on their way to a hard fought victory. It wasnt meant to be though as Timsbury took advantage of a bit of a mix up at the back and hauled themselves level. 4-4 and a run out for the boys which has great value as Timsbury are in our division this season!

Few stand out performances today - Henry R was excellent particulary in the first half on the right wing, Rheon had a huge ongoing battle with Timsburys CB but for me the man of the match was Rocco, saved the team more than once in 1v1 duels and made some good saves to accompany good distribution. Well done Rocco!
