*CUP HEROES INTO NEXT ROUND!*
Naas stormed into round three of the SFAI Cup with a thrilling 4-2 win over Arklow Town! The home team were slow off the mark, but once they kicked into gear, there was no stopping them!
*NAAS WAKE UP AFTER 15MINS*
Dan's close-range finish halfway through the first half got the Naas fans going and settled nerves on the pitch. But alas it was short lived and Arklow quickly equalized.
From here on it was all Naas, their defence upping their game with Conor, Jacob, Noah and Michal marshalling at the back. Mark deputising for the injured Daragh was solid at left back.
Naas midfield played some nice football and Josh soon restored Naas' lead with a well-taken finish. Ben continued his fine form with a composed finish to make it 3-1 at half time,
*BEN'S CLINICAL DISPLAY SEALS THE WIN!*
The second half was all Naas, with Naas’ central midfield pair of Jake and Oscar pulling the strings and putting in the big tackles. Ben an ever present attacking threat scoring his second goal with a sublime 25-yard free kick, that’s seven for the season!!
Liam ran tirelessly up front leading the line creating space for others. Hayden commanding between the sticks showing great quick distribution to keep the game flowing. Despite Arklow’s late consolation goal, Naas were unlucky not to add a few more to their tally. Luke's fine display on the left unlucky not to be rewarded with a shot that hit the post!
*DAN WINS THE AWARD!*
Dan's fine display earned him the Man of the Match award, as Naas roar into Round Three of the cup! What's next for these cup heroes?

Naas now turn their attention to a crucial home league clash against Monasterevin next weekend. This is a must win game after a slow league start…Can they keep the momentum going? ONE TO WATCH!
