Match Report: Naas Orange vs Kilcullen u10

Naas vs Kilcullen, first outing as a team showed a lot of character at the end to come back strong.

1st Half - Kilcullen began the game strongly and got forward to take an early lead. Naas had Jack and Cian in defence with Tagh starting in goals. The lads were kept busy with some good attacks from a strong Kilcullen side. Cian in particular had another great game. Naas also had a few chances with Daragh, Matt and John testing the keeper. Leon and Senan both worked tiressly all afternoon were unlucky not to be rewarded for their efforts.

Naas were caught a couple of times on the break and were unlucky to find themselves 3-0 down at half time.

2nd Half - Naas with the wind behind them and playing down field started brightly. John slotted into the defence and was solid at the back. Kilcullen however struck twice against the run of play to put themselves 5 nil up.

Naas rung changes with Michael, Kiaon and Daragh. Naas had a breakthrough when Kilcullen keeper pick up back pass. Daragh put away the indirect freekick via Matt. Michael then had some great play in midfield to set up Daragh for Naas's 2nd. Naas played excellent in second half with Kiaon forcing keeper to make a great save. Great work again from Naas setup Daragh to get his hatrick. The game finished 5-3 to Kilcullen

Great second half performance from the lads in what what was really their first game together against a really good Kilcullen side.

A lot of positives to bring into next games!!!
