U10 Blacks 26/27 - Coach Carters blue

Another great performance from everyone involved yesterday against a strong opposition!

The boys worked tirelessly from start to finish. After taking an early lead, we found ourselves 3-1 down, but the reaction from everyone was brilliant to bring the game level.

Our work ethic off the ball was superb. At times, we struggled physically against a very aggressive opposition, but as the game went on, the boys started matching their intensity, standing up for themselves and competing really well.

Both teams played some excellent football, and I thought we controlled large periods of the game.

Unfortunately, we conceded late on from a counter-attack following our corner, something we can learn from with our three-second recovery challenge and getting back into position quickly.

Overall, another really positive performance with some excellent football played. The boys showed great character, determination and work ethic throughout!

Well done to everyone involved! 👏⚽️
