Match Report: Naas Prem u12 vs Kilcock
Naas Prem u12 vs Newbridge was dominant performance from Naas who returned to winning ways.
First Half Highlights:
Naas started with a shot from Kate outside from Naas, it was the sign of things to come with a dominant performance all afternoon from the home team. Amelia made soon great plays on the left hand side and was unlucky not to open scoring. She was constant threat to the Kilcock defence.
Sara in midfield had an excellent performance with breaking up the Kilcock attacks and quickly feeding Kayleigh and Rosie up front who were knocking on the door of Kilcock goal all first half.
Second Half Highlights
Naas defense had another dominant display with Laurel,Faye and Grace solid all afternoon. Alex had an impressive debut and was excellent moving the ball forward quickly forward. Kayleigh was unlucky not to score going marginally wide. As the game went on Naas pushed on in search of goal. Alana made some great tackles in midfield and put in a real shift in the second half.
Laurel was desparately unlucky not to score from all her great runs moving into the Kilcock half. Evie made some great runs down the left wing and was unlucky not to score. Eventually Naas were rewarded for all their hard work with Kate scoring another impressive goal 1-0 Naas.
Naas continued to push on in search of another goal with chances from Evie, Kate and Rosie. Amelia was denied late on by Kilcock goalkeeper. Lauren had a quiet game in goal but made an impressive save when called upon in the second half to keep Naas in the lead.
Despite a set back of unlucky results lately, Naas produced a confident and dominant display. Excellent work from all the girls again. Onwards and upwards in next games.
