U9 Calcio Talent and Select - DP Football Academy

U9 Rosso lost 6-1 against DP Football Academy.

Struggled in the 1st half, having a bit of a slow start. And we struggled playing out against their high man to man press. Conceding 4 goals.

The 2nd & 3rd half competed much better, energy/fight and reactions to win the ball was good. We had to find other solutions to play around their press being direct and creating loads of chances from runs in behind which worked well.

There keeper made a number of great saves in the last two halves which stopped us scoring anymore then the 1 goal unfortunately; on another day we could have scored 5.

Overall, there was loads of positives to take from the game, with players showing great fight especially in the 2nd & 3rd halves. Showing the desire to compete in physical battles and it was great to see players showing positive reactions to want to win the ball back too.
