U9 Calcio Talent and Select - Yorkshire RTC Blue
A really encouraging performance from the U9 Rosso boys today as they earned a 3–3 draw against Yorkshire RTC.
Theo brought us level at 1–1 on 15 minutes with a brilliant free-kick after Yorkshire had taken an early lead. We went behind again shortly after, but the boys showed great character, and on 18 minutes Ronan drove forward beating his opponent and forced a save, with Liam reacting quickest to follow in and make it 2–2.
After half-time, and once more chasing the game, the team responded brilliantly. On 46 minutes, Ty produced a fantastic solo run from the left, beating a couple of players before finishing superbly for 3–3. From there, we created multiple chances through our great pressing as a team, pushing for a winner and coming close on several occasions.
What stood out most was the resilience the boys showed — responding well every time we went behind and continuing to play with confidence. The progress is clear: players are becoming braver on the ball, making better decisions and working together much more effectively. Really proud of the improvements individuals and the group are making every week 🙌
