Announcement: Handball Foundation

I am thrilled to share with you a momentous milestone in the journey of our beloved Handball Foundation.

As of 1st April 2024, we officially operate as Handball Foundation the first handball charity in the UK, recognized by the Charity Commission under the charity number: 1205687

This achievement is not just a testament to our passion for handball but also a reflection of our collective commitment to promoting health, wellness, and community spirit through sport. The process to secure charity status began over a year ago, spearheaded by me with unwavering dedication and hard work. It was a journey filled with challenges and learning, but our success today marks the beginning of a new chapter in our quest to make handball accessible to all.

As the Handball Foundation, we continue to oversee the vibrant Trafford Handball Club and the newly established Stockport Handball Club. These clubs embody our vision by working tirelessly to engage over 7,000 young players in Greater Manchester, offering them not just the chance to play but to grow, learn, and thrive through sport.

Furthermore, in the spirit of transparency and inclusivity, we will soon announce and share details of the new structural organization of the Handball Foundation. This will include introductions to our dedicated board members, each of whom plays a pivotal role in steering our foundation towards greater success and impact.
