RAF Blackhawks made the journey down to Hull

Prior to the start of the game saw both teams observe a minute's silence and laying of a wreath at centre ice for Terry Heap who sadly passed away recently, he was ex RAF and the Grandfather of Liam Liddell. A very fitting tribute observed and respected by both teams as a mark of respect. Terry served his final years in the RAF as a search and rescue pilot and was much respected in the RAF.

The game started with bo5h teams battling hard all the way through the three period.

Daddies pretty much dominated the whole game with swift passing, great communication and impeccable line changes. Both teams suffered several penalties with Daddies giving up 18 minutes in Penalties and the RAF giving up 12 minutes. Daddies scoring several shorthanded goals and each time we had a player in the bin.

The game was extremely hard fought by both teams who are commended for their sportsmanlike conduct.

Our very own Niall Keith played a blinding game and missed several chances for a goal, undeterred he battled hard all the way through. 5 goals from Tomas was incredible and he is the best import we have.

Not forgetting the fans, this game saw a sell out to capacity of the VIP seats and all were taken by fans from both sides.

Superb backing music DJ and motivated both teams throughout the game.

In summary, what a massive effort by everyone, all credit to the RAF for battling so hard and keeping heads up and high. Great game to watch and our thoughs and condolonces to Liam and his family with the loss of his Grandfather Terry.
