Kilcullen vs Naas (Away)
Naas got off to the perfect start, settling quickly into the game and putting Kilcullen under pressure. Within minutes, Ellie produced a brilliant individual run before being brought down inside the box. Millie stepped up confidently and coolly slotted the penalty into the bottom corner to give Naas the early lead.
The visitors continued to dominate the first half, working hard as a unit and creating chances. Midway through, Millie doubled the advantage with a stunning free kick, rifled into the top corner, leaving the Kilcullen goalkeeper helpless. A superb team performance saw Naas go into the break 2–0 ahead.
The second half brought a different challenge, as Kilcullen came out strong in search of a way back into the game. Perry was sharp off her line, reading through balls well and denying clear chances. Despite a resilient defensive effort, Kilcullen managed to break through to make it 2–1.
Naas showed great determination to absorb the pressure, with the back line digging deep to keep the hosts out. However, as the clock ticked down, Kilcullen found an equaliser to level things at 2–2.
With extra time looming, Naas showed incredible character. Clodagh drove forward with a fantastic run and won a free kick on the edge of the box. Up stepped Millie once again—this time driving the ball low into the bottom corner to complete her hat-trick and seal a dramatic 3–2 victory for Naas.
It was an exceptional team performance from every girl in a pink jersey. They showed skill, determination, and fight from start to finish, and should be hugely proud of themselves after putting in such a massive shift. To top it all off, the win secures Naas a place in their first ever final—a brilliant achievement for this hardworking group.
