We are defo on a great run of form!

Difficult ones today on a windy and uneven pitch. I thought it was in ok condition considering weather, but played slow as a result. The game could have gone either way but some great team and individual moments. It was tense to say the least!

First half we had more break-aways but no goals. Second was more pass/ tackle orientated type of game, that evidentially we won! Their goal was a wonder strike from a 20m free kick that was near un-saveable.

A great note is I think we got the balance of when to pass or dribble near enough right. There was a good mix and as a result we were unpredictable. They had a few fast/ strong defenders that had a lots of work on their hands.

I thought we generally struggled to get a clean strike on the ball throughout from dead ball situations. This often led to passes being intercepted. There was a period where oppo pressure seemed non stop. We even questioned the ball size!

Another note was where we would stand off 50:50s, like loose goal kicks. Let's try and get under the ball and be nuisances and this will give so much more possession in dangerous areas.

I did also think there was a few challenges where we turned our back on the oppo. Face on or just facing to the side, goal side, best stops them running past.

Another point was there was a few first time attempts at kicks; taking a touch gives a much better chance at a more accurate kick/ pass. Some were sliced and could have caused issue. Admittedly, sometimes a first timer is defo needed, especially when defending urgent situations...

Altogether a brilliant team performance and result. You should all be proud of the standards (behaviour and playing) you set and the fun you have.

Whilst all were brilliant, there was only one MOM - DEXTER. Even the oppo linesman was saying how amazing the saves and general GK was. You kept us in it for large parts. Well done!
