Mambas v Thrapston Town Avengers
Disappointing result today, think we played better attacking the second half but didn’t get as much shots off as we would have liked throughout the whole game.
Harry Simms with a strong free kick from his own half got us back in at 1-2. However, Avengers are a good side with some strong players going forward and we struggled a bit in midfield to compete like we have been doing. We lost our way towards the end and didn’t pick up when we should’ve giving away a couple of simple goals, before Oscar Plunkett with a good finish for our second right at the end. FT 2-4
