Girls U13-U14 (2011 2012) - Kilcock
Match Report: Naas U14 Girls vs Kilcock
The Naas U14 girls travelled to Kilcock determined to finish the season strong and keep their push for third place on track — and they did just that with an impressive all-round performance.
Naas got off to a flying start just minutes after kick-off when Marie threaded a perfect through ball to Ellie, who calmly slotted it into the bottom corner. Shortly after, Eabha made a bursting run down the right wing and delivered a pinpoint cross for Lana, who finished first-time into the net.
Around the 12-minute mark, Blathnaid cleared her lines, the ball fell kindly to Ellie, who made a brilliant solo run to grab her second of the game. Just before halftime, Marie once again played Ellie through, and she completed her hat-trick with a smooth finish.
Halftime: Kilcock 0 – 4 Naas
Naas wasted no time after the restart — Millie sent a perfect ball through for Ellie, who smashed it into the top of the net for her fourth. Kilcock pulled one back ten minutes later, but Naas quickly responded. Ellie, dropping deep to help in midfield, won the ball and played a clever pass to Eabha, who powered her shot past the goalkeeper.
Ellie wasn’t done yet — she chased down another through ball and finished confidently to make it five for her on the day. Kilcock grabbed another midway through the half, but Naas had the final say when Millie sent a long ball forward for Laura, who chased it down, rounded the keeper, and scored to seal a dominant win.
Both Marie and Millie were unlucky not to get on the scoresheet themselves, having created several great chances and worked tirelessly throughout the game.
Full-Time: Kilcock 2 – 8 Naas
A fantastic team performance from Naas — solid defending, sharp passing, and ruthless finishing. The girls have put themselves in a great position to secure third place as the season comes to a close. Every single player — Perry, Blathnaid, Laura, Pippa, Amy, Millie, Eabha, Marie, Annabel, Raluca, Ellie, Lana, and Orla — should be so proud of their performance.
