Boys U11's Lightning - Bedworth United greenbacks

Bedworth United Greenbacks 3 V 4 U11 Stockton Lightning

We were expecting a tough match this morning in Bedworth, after losing 6-1 in the same fixture a few weeks ago, and that’s exactly what we got.

Finding ourselves 2-0 down in the first half, not having done anything wrong ourselves, but down to good play by the opposition, we slowly got back into it, getting a goal back and limiting their chances.

Second half the roles reversed and Lightning were the strongest team, the boys worked out how to be most effective and took a 3-2 lead, Bedworth rallied and made it 3-3 before a deserved fourth goal secured a win for the Stockton boys. Really pleasing to see their team celebration.

A close game in which everyone in the squad had to contribute, using their skill, strength and minds.
