Away vs Academy One
What a fantastic 7-3 win away from home! The team worked incredibly hard today, and it was clear from the warm-up just how much everyone wan’t to win today.
We showed great desire to win the ball back when we were out of possession and bravery going forward. It's great to see how well the players applied what we practiced in training. Last night, we focused on playing the ball in behind—utilising straight passes for diagonal runs and vice versa. The players take on that information brilliantly, leading to creates many chances and an impressive 7 goals.
A massive congratulations to Dan for scoring a hat-trick in his first game! Hugo contributed with two goals, while Seb and Will each added one.
