MJPL U12s Youth - Shawbury

Leamington Brakes U12 MJPL vs Shawbury

Brakes 3 Shawbury 0

Brakes continued their fantastic start to the season with a confident win over Shawbury this morning. Right from the start Leamington deserted their dominance over their visitors and created a number of good chances but couldn’t quite find the killer touch. They finally made the breakthrough when the ball was played into Sam who laid it off for Artem to smash the ball into the top corner. Brakes continued to push forward but couldn’t add to their lead before half time.

The second half started with Brakes still very much in the ascendancy and they added a second when Edward slid the ball through the Shawbury defence for Artem to slot home. More chances came and Artem grabbed his hat-trick from a goal mouth scramble. It’s now two from two for the Brakes boys who now sit joint top of the MJPL table.

Coaches’ POTM - Artem
