Razor FC Youth u13 - Norton League - Westfield FC

A great start to the season this one. The match got off to a flying start when we went two goals ahead early on. From then, Westfield had the majority of the possession but they were cut out before they could do anything dangerous with it. Kyle and Jack, in midfield, were a nuisance to the opposition all game. After Westfield scored thier only goal of the game, there was an inevitable rallying of their troops but we weathered the storm and came in 2-1 up at the first half.

The second half started mostly the same with Westfield having the possession but being not able to capitalise on it. Despite coming very close, the ball was cleared off the line. Razor were by no means being dominated and we had plenty of chances to increase our lead which were only narrowly missed. We did manage to hit the back of the net from a well placed corner which sealed the match and the victory. It was a great game to watch where everyone played their part. Well done boys as we move on to the next game.

On to some other news, today was Kyle's last game for the club. We wish him all the best in his new footballing adventure. Thanks very much for all that you've given to the club; you will be missed.
