S&L Juniors U17s Whites (DR) (25/26) - Guildford Saints Boys & Girls U13 Hawks

Some highs and lows for this game. Started very bright and were on top for most of the first half, creating a number of openings without any real clear cut opportunities. Got caught on the break a few times which lead to conceding and own goal and then a rash challenge for the penalty. 2nd half half started very strong and managed to get back to 2-2 and were very much on top. Almost took the lead a few times and looked every bit the better side, before being caught again on the break and another own goal. Positives were the team showed a lot of spirit to fight back from a losing position and nearly came out on top. Negatives were that we seemed a little negative towards each other in the game rather than being supportive. Things to work on next - Defensive shape in and out of possession so we avoid being caught on the break, protection in front of the defenders must be in place at all times. Man of the match was Joseph Watson for his end to end efforts and physical approach to the game.
