U13 UFCA 25/26 - DP Academy

Our U13s UFCA took to the pitch today with a small squad and with limited substitutes, facing a very physical and determined opposition. Despite the challenge, every player showed huge character, working hard for each other from start to finish.
The opposition used their strength and numbers well, making it tough in every area of the pitch. Our players, however, stood up to the challenge brilliantly, putting in some brave tackles, chasing every ball, and refusing to back down. Even when tired legs set in, the effort and commitment never dropped.
There were some excellent individual performances, but what stood out most was the team spirit. With no extra players to rotate after the injury to Dylan, everyone had to dig deep, and they did so with real determination against a team who were also unbeaten in the seeding phase.
Although the football at times wasn’t the prettiest, the squad should feel proud of the way they represented themselves and the club. Against a bigger, physical side, they showed resilience, courage, and togetherness—qualities that will only make them stronger for the games ahead as we return to league action.
