UFCA Whites 1 – 7 Matlock FC
A challenging start to the season against a physically strong Matlock side, who will no doubt be competing in one of the top leagues. Despite the scoreline, the UFCA boys showed great determination, continuing to play and compete throughout the match.
The highlight for UFCA came from James Conley, who scored with an excellent strike from outside the box to give the team a deserved goal.
Plenty of lessons to take forward, and the boys will look to bounce back next week.
