U15 Blacks 26/27 - Pro Elite whites

UFCA Blacks 4–2 Pro Elite Whites

Another excellent performance from the boys as UFCA Blacks came out on top against a strong Pro Elite Whites side.

UFCA started brightly and took the lead after a ball was played in behind the Pro Elite defence. Isaac Welsh showed great pace to race away from the chasing defenders before rounding the goalkeeper and calmly slotting the ball home to make it 1–0.

Pro Elite responded with a long-range strike to bring the game level at 1–1.

UFCA regained the lead from an excellent in-swinging set piece delivered by Luca Ramsey, with Lucas Reed reacting quickest to finish from close range and make it 2–1.

Pro Elite equalised again with a good finish to make it 2–2, setting up an exciting final period.

Going into the last 20 minutes, UFCA went up another level. The boys showed fantastic battling qualities, determination and desire to get the result. Isaac Welsh then stepped up with two well-taken goals to complete his hat-trick and help UFCA secure an excellent 4–2 victory.

A great team performance against a very good opposition. Plenty of positives to take from the game, particularly the character and determination shown in the final stages.
