U11 Orange - Bedworth United U11

Bedworth started the better of the two sides in this early kick off, putting pressure on our goal from the start. In difficult conditions with the low sun, Bedworth capitalised by securing a debatable penalty, which was converted. They made the most of their chances and scored a further two goals before half time.

Into the second half and the lads played better, and created a few half chances but still found it tough to break through a well organised Bedworth team, who added a fourth goal. It could have been more but for some good goal keeping from Teddy, who deputised again for Freddie and a brilliant double goal line clearance from Alfie.

Final score 4-0. the lads should remain positive though after a good start to the season, sometimes we just have to hold our hands up and say we were beaten by the better side. It just wasn’t our day today.

Well done Teddy for stepping in to cover for Freddie again, you made some good saves to keep the score down.

Harry had a solid game, sticking to his defensive task well in the first half and looked bright on the left wing in the 2nd half.
