U10s Azzuri Won 4-1 against First Touch Blue

A well battled team performance today, against a strong side. I thought we built out from the back really well in moments against their man to man press. And as a team and individuals we showed great quality and composure on the ball to find the free player. Sometimes we just need to recognise how we can support our teammates and more off our marker with sharp movement and open body shape to be forward facing when receiving the ball, as this would help us play forward quicker too.

Overall, a good team performance, with some really good work rate off the ball & defensive shape when recovering back and protecting the middle of the pitch too. Also some great goals & teamplay. And I can’t forget some brilliant saves from Josh, who kept us in the game at times. And was voted the player of the match 🙌
