Away match on a relatively fast, lumpy grass pitch. Weather was choppy but generally nice and sunny.

Very enjoyable match against a friendly and fair opponent. Exactly how football should be played.

Got to say we was unlucky with the result. I believe we generally looked better, they just had some quick goals and a very good striker. Credit to you all that you kept your heads held high and I'd rank it as one of the best games of the season.

Pre-match warm up and listening was the best it's been. The was great team camaraderie.

Defence cover from midfield also much, much better Lots of players getting goal side regardless of position.

We also saw much better movement from corners and throws before the ball was played - excellent! Erick's corner delivery also on point today.

To add a cherry to the top of the cake (performance) we could tried a tad harder in pressing the loose balls (to force mistakes/ try and win possession) and our control of long balls could have been improved by getting more of our body behind (one went past three with loose wavy legs). Again we'll keep this for training.

However, so much better today against a very good team.

Many great performances again today, but Toby was player of the match. He worked so hard to track back this game, had some super skill moves and it was great to see that will a little more effort the performance shone. Keep this up!
