Girls U11's Lionessess - Northfield Town U10 Girls

This morning the girls headed to South Birmingham for their match against Northfield Town our first match against this team.

It turned out to be quite a scrappy game but the girls dug deep and held out for the win.

Solid defending by Edith and Rebecca kept Northfield at bay and Harriet in goal was alert making save after save.

Sienna was enterprising and energetic in midfield, always looking to create and bring other team mates into play and was unlucky not to feature on the scoresheet herself today.

Northfield had chances to score themselves right up until the final minute with a free kick but It was a good finish from Molly in the first half which was enough to see us through.
