The girls put a brilliant shift in this morning.

Holly ran that midfield today. Got stuck in, drove the ball forward and made some fantastic passes and a cracking goal too.

Tiana had a lot to deal with today and she made their strikers lives really difficult. Love that I’m hearing her communicate and leading that back line.

The different combinations of our front three all worked really well together and on another day they score 5 or 6 goals it just wasn’t meant to be today.

The midfield worked tirelessly getting up and down the pitch, got stuck in and I can see that they’re trying to put in place what we’re practicing in training.

The defenders were resilient, I could hear their communication and I feel for them that they couldn’t go home with a clean sheet today unfortunately for the other teams first goal both T and Aimiee did the right thing it’s just the ball got a bit of a lucky bounce and they capitalised on it and the second goal was just last minute chaos and was in no way any players fault.

Super proud of them for their resilience today and I’m also really proud that I coach a team that when we conceed a last minute own goal there was no negativity and only support for each other.
