U10 Turquoise - Barnet Nightingales

Today the u10 Turquoise hosted Barnet Nightingales at Goffs Churchgate.

The game started fast with both teams passing the ball really well.

The action was end to end with both teams pressing for the early goal. 

Barnets no10 managed to grab two identical goals running down the right wing and shooting across goal.

Unlike last week the girls knew how well they were playing and didn’t give up. 

Zuzanna managed to make her usual driving central runs and bagged a goal back for the Turquoise. ⚽️

Barnet then made another great run down the right wing. With a high dipping cross into the box Bella lept into action and made a great one handed save. Unfortunately for us Barnet’s left winger made a run to the far post and managed to slot it home. 

Final quarter we went out and everyone worked their socks off. 

Shots coming from Chloe, Zuzanna and Ja’laysia unfortunately saved by their keeper. ( Ja’laysia’s quite possibly was just over the line) 

Up stepped Zuzanna again though with a blistering strike to get us another goal. ⚽️

Every girl on the pitch today showed how good they really are all with great individual moments. 

Unfortunately we ran out of time but the last quarter of the game was all Goffs. 

Today’s player of the match went to Zuzanna.

Two great goals and a great overall performance.
