Boys U11 (2014) Blue - Kilkenny United Tournament

Kilkenny United Tournament Report
Naas AFC U11 Prem Team
The Naas AFC U11 prem team travelled to Kilkenny for a fantastic tournament experience, playing nine tough and competitive matches plus a thrilling final.
From the first whistle, the boys showed brilliant determination and teamwork across the pitch. Facing strong, physical opposition, they battled hard in every game. Over the group stages, the team secured 2 excellent wins, earned 4 hard-fought draws, and narrowly lost 3 games.
The highlight of the day was the team’s spirit — every player gave 100%, supporting each other with great passing, communication, and tireless effort.
In the final, the boys showed immense heart and character in a tough encounter. It was a nail-biting match that ended in heartbreak, with the opposition scoring a last-minute goal to snatch the win.
Despite the final result, the Naas AFC players can be incredibly proud of their performance. They represented the club with pride, showed great sportsmanship, and left everything on the pitch.
A big thank you to the parents (and aunts!) for their support throughout a memorable day!
Thank you Alan Howard for the use of your flag for the opening parade!
