U11 Calcio Select - Normanton Academy U9

U9s: 13-1 Win. A Fantastic team performance all round today.

All the lads showed some great intensity pressing out of possession and showed some great desire to win back the ball in high areas of the pitch which lead to our 1st goal. I thought the communication with others on the pitch and the organisation from a tactical perspective has improved significantly well. Coming into the 3rd half we was 4-1 up with still loads of things to think about in possession, eg: finding the free man on our team and being brave to stay on the ball.

In the 3rd half, in possession I saw huge improvements with some amazing decisions being made on the ball by players and some fantastic movement to support play. This ability of being brave to keep on the ball and move to support play off the ball lead to some brilliantly taken goals, as we managed to blitz 9 goals in the last half.

special mention to Louie Bradley for his debut today as Goalkeeper 👏
