What a performance from the Lions today! 👏⚽

A proper team performance from start to finish. Plenty of hard work, some great football and, most importantly, more goals than the opposition — which always helps! 😂

🧤 Jake was solid in goal today, pulling off some great saves and keeping the Raiders at bay. Basically, he decided the goal was closed for business. 🛑

⭐ Charlie had an absolutely brilliant debut! Worked hard, got stuck in and looked like he'd been playing with the Lions for ages. Someone clearly forgot to tell him it was supposed to be his first game! 😂👏

⚽ Jax bagged TWO goals today. Two! At this rate, we're going to have to start checking his boots for magnets. 🧲😂

⚽ Cam got himself on the scoresheet too with a great goal. Another Lion adding to the tally!

🧱 Gracie was an absolute brick wall in defence, shutting down anyone who dared to come her way. Raiders came forward… Gracie said “not today.” 😂

But the biggest positive was the amazing team effort. Everyone worked hard, supported each other and played their part. The boys and girls should be really proud of themselves today. 👏🦁

A well-deserved 3–1 victory and plenty of positives to take forward.
