Girls U11's Lionessess - Kinghurst U11 Girls
Our final home game of the season and it was a brilliant performance with five goals and another clean sheet.
It was a physical game which I don’t mind to be honest - physical but fair. Often we are a little to bit too polite!
After a competitive opening 20 minutes we made the breakthrough, Molly finding Stacie in space for her to slot home.
HT 1-0
10 minutes into the 2nd half Molly using her physicality doubled our lead, bursting past 2-3 players to finish.
The goal of the game came just 5 minutes later. It came from Aimee winning the ball back in midfield, playing a through ball to Phoebe, who was on-side with a clear run on goal, shooting from outside the box into the bottom right corner.
Stacie scored in similar fashion from distance to make it 4-0 and then bagged her hat-trick despite being thrown to the ground by the keeper she still managed to prod the ball into the net.
